Manu Kabahizi Co-Founder and CTO, Ulula
Manu Kabahizi is the co-founder and CTO of Ulula, a Toronto-based technology social enterprise. In his role, Manu leads the development of a software platform currently used by governments, NGOs and businesses to engage stakeholders in more than 70 countries. Manu’s passion for social change through innovation and technology started with his discovery of software development in the late 90’s. At the time, Manu interned at the South African parliament in Cape Town where technology was embraced as vehicle to promote transparent governance at the end of the Apartheid era. This experience inspired Manu to follow a career that would give him the opportunity to lead research and development initiatives ranging from use of chatbots in immigration and settlement to application of machine learning in combating human trafficking.
